  • Title: AEO / GEO / SEO Specialist Operations
  • Location: Philippines (Remote)
  • Industry: digital marketing and advisory services
  • Works with: the North American digital marketing team (Pacific Time)
  • Focus: search visibility across traditional and AI powered engines, client reporting, and analytics and tagging

The role

You will drive the day to day execution, measurement and optimisation of client digital marketing programmes. This is a hands on role built around three core areas: search visibility across traditional and AI powered engines (SEO, Answer Engine Optimisation and Generative Engine Optimisation), client ready reporting and dashboards, and website analytics and tagging.

You will provide quality assurance, operational support and extended coverage outside North American hours, working in your local Philippine time zone and joining select internal meetings, client calls, launches or urgent sessions during Pacific Time hours when required.

Primary responsibilities

1. SEO, AEO and GEO production

  • Conduct keyword and search intent research for blogs, landing pages, website content and campaign initiatives.
  • Build SEO, AEO and GEO focused content briefs covering target keywords, recommended headings, search intent, FAQs and common questions, internal linking opportunities and metadata.
  • Review landing pages, blog posts and website copy for search and answer engine opportunities.
  • Recommend title tags, meta descriptions, headings, page structure, keyword usage, internal links, image alt text, calls to action and structured content.
  • Optimise content to give clear, concise answers to common user questions so it is understood, surfaced and cited by search engines and AI powered platforms (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and similar).
  • Recommend content formats such as FAQs, question based headings, summaries and lists that support both traditional and AI driven search.
  • Identify opportunities to improve content relevance, organic visibility and alignment with evolving search behaviour.
  • Support content audits and maintain SEO / AEO / GEO content trackers.
  • Work with writers, strategists, account teams and website partners to ensure recommendations are implemented correctly, and review published content to confirm they have been applied.

2. Reporting and dashboard production

  • Build, update and maintain client dashboards in NinjaCat.
  • Connect and validate data sources across advertising and analytics platforms.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and campaign specific performance reports.
  • Review reporting data for accuracy, inconsistencies, tracking issues and missing information.
  • Analyse performance across impressions, reach, clicks, engagement, CTR, CPC, CPM, conversions, conversion rate, cost per conversion and other relevant KPIs.
  • Pull website performance and conversion data from GA4.
  • Translate campaign and website data into clear observations, insights and recommended next steps.
  • Maintain reporting templates, benchmarks and quality assurance processes; support ad hoc data requests, performance summaries and client presentations.

3. Analytics and tagging operations

  • Configure and maintain GA4 properties, events, conversions, audiences and reporting views.
  • Build and manage tags, triggers and variables in Google Tag Manager.
  • Implement tracking for form submissions, button clicks, downloads, phone calls, account applications, purchases and other client specific actions.
  • Run tracking audits and troubleshoot discrepancies between GA4, advertising platforms, websites and dashboards.
  • Test implementations using GTM Preview, GA4 DebugView, browser tools and platform diagnostics.
  • Support cross domain tracking, referral exclusions, UTM governance and campaign attribution.
  • Coordinate with developers and website partners on code level or platform specific changes.
  • Maintain tagging plans, conversion maps, implementation documentation and QA checklists, and keep tracking functional after website, landing page or campaign updates.

Secondary responsibilities

  • Support setup, launch, monitoring and optimisation of Google Search, Display, YouTube and Performance Max campaigns, plus programmatic display, video, CTV, audio and digital out of home campaigns as needed.
  • Monitor pacing, delivery, spend and tracking; complete pre and post launch QA; maintain naming conventions, budget trackers and optimisation logs; provide coverage for other specialists when required.

Cross time zone collaboration

  • Provide monitoring, QA, reporting and operational support while the North American team is offline.
  • Review builds, tracking, dashboards and deliverables to catch issues before they affect clients.
  • Maintain clear documentation and handoff notes; communicate completed work, open tasks, risks and follow ups.
  • Attend select client calls, internal meetings, training sessions and launches during Pacific Time hours, coordinated in advance.

What you bring

  • Hands on, working experience in SEO with exposure to AEO / GEO (optimising content for AI powered search and answer engines).
  • Exposure to AI visibility: understanding how AI powered search and answer engines select, rank and cite sources, their content and technical requirements, and the algorithms and signals that drive visibility.
  • Practical proficiency in GA4, Google Tag Manager and dashboarding tools (NinjaCat preferred), plus working knowledge of Google Ads and programmatic platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple client priorities with accuracy and consistency.
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills for asynchronous collaboration and handoffs.
  • Ability to work independently, make sound operational decisions and escalate urgent issues appropriately.
  • Experience working with colleagues, clients or stakeholders across countries and time zones is preferred.
  • Willingness to occasionally support meetings or time sensitive work during Pacific Time business hours.
